KDP promotion and rain

The rain falls steadily outside my window tonight. Each droplet a reminder of how writing works—persistent, sometimes gentle, sometimes fierce, but always transforming the landscape.
These past three days, I opened one of my books for free downloads—a writer's leap of faith. Not the thousands of downloads bestsellers see, but something more intimate: a handful of readers from different corners of the world chose to invite my words into their lives. Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, Italian—my stories crossing borders while I sit here, listening to the rain.
A writer's life often mirrors these rainy days—seemingly isolating, the world blurred beyond the glass. Yet there's something cleansing about both. The rain washes away the dust, makes breathing easier. Writing does the same for the soul.
Sometimes I wonder who's reading on the other side of the screen, just as I wonder about the shadowy figures hurrying through the rain. We may never meet, but for a moment, we share the same air, the same story.
Thank you to everyone who downloaded my book. You've cleared my sky more than you know.
